Various castles shot along the way. First comes Koeningsbourg in France. Then the ruins of Hochburg, which was first shot from below at night, and then a visit had some nice sunset light.
The Hochburg Ruin is only about 15 minutes north of Freiburg, near Emmendingen. There were 350 soldiers housed here when the fortress was in at its prime.
