Musée Nissim de Camondo
The house was built by Moisee de Camondo, a banker (originally from Istanbul). His only son, Nissim, was killed in WWI; his daughter and her entire family was killed in Nazi Concentration Camps. No members of the family survive. Moisee left the house to the city as a museum of 18th and 19th century furnishings and art.
